Speaking of mental toughness:  CrossFit Ethos will be hosting Greg Amundson on August 21st @ 10am to talk about Mental Toughness.  For those of you that don't know Greg, he's a CFHQ All-Star and great friend of CrossFit Ethos. 


WOD

Row 1000 meters
85 pound Thruster, 21 reps
15 Pull-ups

Row 750 meters
85 pound Thruster, 18 reps
12 Pull-ups

Row 500 meters
85 pound Thruster, 15 reps
9 Pull-ups

Rest 2 minutes between each round. Post total time to comments.

Ooooh I will be there.  Greg is an amazing person and athlete.  I could always use a bit more mental toughness and quiet the noise during my WOD.

My shift finishes at 0800 then I'm on my way for Oly tomorrow. I'll try to bust out a little early if possible. 63 hrs. down, 9 to go til freedom, sweet freedom.

Firehouse WOD- Strength building arm workout then 4 minute tabata abs then 50 burpees in 3:25.

can't say i'm gonna be sorry to miss this one. after all my hard work getting back into shape after my last vacation now i get to have another two and a half weeks away from the box while i'm in Africa.

sounds like this was a good one, sorry I missed it! We had no C2 or pull-up bar today, so I did squat cleans 3-3-3-1-1-1-1-1. Set a new PR at 200#!

Dayyyyyyyam...are you on a holiday or training in the mountains with CF monks?!  It's great to hear you are getting those numbers up on your lifts!  Two hundo for a squat clean?  (clap clap clap clap clap)...

No Phil, I am in the mountains...but I have not found any CF monks...only lions and snow.
