From Laura of the American Red Cross:
Hi CrossFit Ethos,
Thank you very much for all you did to make yesterday’s blood drive at CrossFit Ethos a success! Our goal was to collect 24 pints of blood and we ended up collecting 25 pints of blood which will be used to save the lives of up to 75 Southern California hospital patients.
Your efforts and dedication are what made all the difference. I also want to offer a huge thank you to Nick for all of his help in recruiting blood donors.
We'll be scheduling more blood drives in the future. Your contributions to the community are amazing!
WOD
"Teams of Two Tire Flips"
Eight Rounds for time of:
20 Tire Flips
4 Rope Climbs
Men teams will use large tire. Female teams will use medium tire. Each team is responsible for completing 20 tire flips and 4 rope climbs per round. (Each team member is NOT required to complete 20 tire flips AND 4 rope climbs individually to complete the round.)
Post time to comments.

I have no problem with 32 rope climbs, but 160 tire flips sounds like it might take a while. Bring it on!

This is RAD.

Ditto what Chris said. Never done the tire flip ... had to look up some videos:

Team Awesome with a time of 21 and change. Team WODs are sweet. I wanted a breather, but Erika "The Gazelle" wasn't going to have any of that.
First time on the tire too Sam. It's a good time. Atlas stones next??

Nice job this morning josh, great team work.
lovely to meet everyone this morning.
hopefully c u all again another time before i go back to oz

Teamwork = fun
Tire Flips = suck ass
Lindsay and I teamed up @ 9am. I think we both walked away from that experience with one thing in mind "Glad I have AAA". I came home and burned the clothes I was wearing and aside from the skin I left on the rope and the severe bruising the tire left on my arms/biceps it was a good time. Rope climbs are no longer an issue and I was actually looking forward to them while mashing my face into the tire.

@Chris: Thank you for letting me be a part of Team Awesome! It was an honor haha. I think your giving me too much credit because I definitely felt like I was holding you back!!
Team WOD was fun! We should do more of those!!

Definitely underestimated that workout until I watched heat one of the 12:00 working their way through sets 7 and 8. Props to Kat for getting me out of the box on time
I went home and went straight to sleep after this. Great workout

Holy shit balls...that kicked my ass.
Jaque & Jennifer - Thanks for picking me up and helping me through that WOD. You guys were awesome. In a sick way, it was really fun throwing down with you ladies. Great job.

26ish with Andrew... I am petrified of heights and have panicked at the top when tired so I feared I would have to give up early and wouldnt be able to do this RXed..... then I got paired with Tindula.
Tindula basically did all the tire tosses and I pretended to help. The bad thing about being paired with this rugged beast is he does not stop. WTF! Do you even breath during a WOD? I like to take a breather, have some water, talk about my feelings, and fix my socks and shoes.... he wasnt having any of that.
I was able to complete all rope climbs RXed which I did not think in my wildest dreams would happen. Thank you Andrew. You are my teammate, my friend, and definitely my HERO!
Dear Sam and Brian Mc,
Thank you for helping me through this tough WOD. Sam, for doing most the work (hope your arms have feeling again), and Brian for playing with a crying child. I couldn't have done it without you!

That was a tough one, but very fun!
Jeff to me -
"I liked the part when you said “don’t make me look better than you” (paraphrased) after you did a tire flip on your own…..
Please…doing crossfit, my pride disappeared a very long time ago"
Thanks for making me look like a beast Jeff =)
Oh wow, I'm being quoted now?? I guess I did say that "on the record", ha...
