Give It Up...
July 21, 2010

If you're not signed up to give blood tomorrow, you're wrong!  Rally together for a great cause and let's see how many liters we can fill.  Let's keep it off the bars and put it in the bags.  Click HERE to sign up.

This is a reminder that there will only be a 6am Group Class and a 7am Elements Class tomorrow.  The remainder of the day will be devoted to "Giving Blood - For Time..."

I will be at Ethos at 0600 to swing the big ball between my legs, and at 1430 to get the needle in my arm.

I just looked at tomorrow's Mainsite WOD: Seven rounds for time of: 205 pound Clean, 3 reps 4 Ring handstand push-ups Graham Holmberg 4:26, Chris Spealler 4:27, Kristan Clever 3:37 (HSPU). Post time to comments. Chris's performance at the Games was an inspiration to me. He takes away all my excuses.

6:07-rx

Guys, i have to be honest here...im in alot of pain. the lunges took it out of me...legs are shot. Played hoops last night and that didnt go over too well either...the kb swings we fine...burpees on the other hand were not so fine. Looking forward to some cookies and juice this afternoon after giving some blood.

Buck Furpees!

6:26 Rx - I kept a strong pace on the Kettlebells, it was the burpees that slowed me down. I don't feel yesterday's workout anymore, so maybe I'll be able to play hoops tonight - it's been awhile since I've elbowed someone in the throat :-)

4:30-50...somewhere in there.

First 21 KB swings felt great.  After burpee #15, a colossal wave of dread engulfed me and I knew it was going to be "one of those" wods.  My quads were absolutely ruined by the middle of the round of 15.  The 45# overhead walking lunges exacted their revenge this morning.

"Fun"...in the way only Crossfit can make it.

6:57 - RX

This was my first time playing with the 2 pood. It is not light and my experiance was basically exactly what Phil said, only tack on a couple of more minutes of pain.

This was fun, but hard.

9:55 for 1pint of blood

I think I'm the winner right?  The goal is to not have your blood wanting to shoot out of your body, right?  I was really shooting for 20minutes.

@Chris - I'm going to call Crossfit St. Jean and tell them we're starting a Camille fan club with you as the president. Oui?

Chris - glad you like the photo....courtesy of photographer Phil.

I am not ashamed to say it is also the background on my computer at work...the stares and "WTF?s" from people that walk by are awesome

P.S. I'll make the "I <3 Camille" T-shirts
