WOD

"Championship Fight Gone Bad!"

Five rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

Add your points and post them to comments.

I had a feeling this was coming ... I'm not coming Saturday, but if anyone is game to do this on Sunday, I plan on coming in.

@ Phil... thanks for the great video!! Just saw it now, I will show Trey in the morning he will be so excited!! Did you notice how he pushed out a few extra reps after Shayna said we were going to show you the video?

@RyanA... believe me, I know where I rank in the family athletically

Did yesterday's Lynn WoD with a but did C2B deadhang pullups instead cause we're at a hotel fitness center (Kansas City, MO yeehaw) without a kippable pullup bar.

bw = 170# ...  12/10, 8/6, 6/4, 3/5, 3/5 = 62 reps

I agree with Aaron, it is crazy how fast the reps decrease with so little rest time.

The other thing that I really notice is how hard it is for me to bring intensity when working out alone. At Ethos there is so much positive drive coming from everyone. It is really easy to not go for those last few reps when there is no one around. Or when the only other person in the gym is doing 20lb curls.

Next week we hit www.qccrossfit.com all week!

I am really sorry I missed the WOD this morning. Scarlett threw up twice last night, and then again in the car on the way to the box. I remember looking at the clock in the car to calculate if I had enough time to run home and change her, and still make it back in time for FGB - the Long Version, but then I realized that by doing so I was sure to lock up the award for Worst Father Of The Year. As I wrote in a text to Nick, explaining my absence, I think you are only supposed to puke at CrossFit if you are doing the WOD.

I am leaving on a 3-day trip to London tomorrow, so I will see you all on Wednesday. How ironic - flying to jolly old England on the 4th of July.

480. However, Big Andrew T. gets the king-of-the-mountain score with 483. 3 lousy reps. I am still salty about it. Lol...great effing effort, Andrew. @Brian: dude, I will keep score for you if you want to do it next Sunday, lol. Hope Scarlett feels better. Happy Fourth, brotha.
