You read that right. Competing in the Crossfit Games isn't something you can just roll out of bed and do. It takes preparation and dedication. Almost half of the teams in the Affiliate Competition DNF'd the first WOD because not everyone could finish the ring dips. If you have a weakness or any holes in your game, Crossfit will invariably expose you.
Train your weaknesses and practice what you suck at.
The best Crossfitter isn't one who excels at everything. It's someone who has the fewest weaknesses. Go back and read what you posted on "What is your kryptonite?" You all know where the holes exist. The list is pretty similar: overhead squats, running, hand stand pushups, muscle ups...sound familiar? Hone your strengths and work on your weaknesses.
See you at the 2011 SoCal Sectionals.

ah running and pull-ups, count me in!

I just want to say that the Ethos team really threw it down out there and it was amazing to watch you guys kick butt. I had such a blast seeing the masters tournament was so inspiring and i just hope that i can be at half the level they are when I'm that age.
So i did todays workout and I'm so embarrassed of my time but I feel that its a huge step to post it and make it public..
WOD as Rx'd was: 46:43 the longest weighted workout i've done since i started Cross fit.. Thanks guys.

Tim,
Great seeing you judging at the Regionals! You look good in red, lol.
Don't ever be embarrassed about what you think is a "slow" time. The only thing that matters is that you showed up and put out. Just remember how far you have come. No matter the time, you did it...Rx'd. Respect.

Damn, Drew sent me a link to some photos from regionals, and may I say that is the best looking affiliate team ever!!
From the Girls ethos tops, to the guys polka dot shorts, that is awesome. You guys rock.
See ya'll in a couple weeks. Starting from square one when I get back. OUCH!

6 rnds: 96 total rep (30-20-15-11-10-10)
PR by 26 reps since the last time in August I did this, but bummed I didn't break 100. I'm just too sore from yesterday. It's amazing how taking a couple weeks off just resets the acceptable soreness sensors in my brain.
