Whos that sex kitten in the photo? I give good face during WODs. This is pre-Haleo diet. Laying off the rolls to get rid of the rolls.

Isnt there a bbq or volleyball game in Laguna planned for the same day (i.e. the afternoon of Sunday the 11th)?

This Sunday at Anerobic, Inc. is the only Ethos approved BBQ. If you remember back, this used to be a regular occurrence at the old box. These events are a ton of fun, they usually include some type of WOD, food, booze and good company. I hope we get a good turn out so we show the rest of the OC affiliates who the Ethos crew is!!!

Is it a bad idea to have a few beers on Thursday in preparation for NLP?  I'm playing Monarch Beach and it would be such a waste to not have a few.

1/4 Beef order update:

Paid: Josh C, Elizabeth B, Nolan G, Phil O
Need to pay: Jim D, Ryan A, Eddie D

Please make checks ($143) payable to Crossfit Ethos.  Beef will arrive next week.

@ Sam: Regarding having a couple beers...go ahead.  Don't deny yourself a little indulgence.  However, try and have a little self control and keep the brewski count to single digits.   If you are used to having beer a couple times a week, it's not going to ruin your competition.  No need to deviate to an extreme and completely change what you normally do.  Have fun.

195# PR

My arms are sooooo sore now. Thankfully my GMAT is tomorrow so I won't be coming to Crossfit tomorrow. Time to recover during a 4 HOUR TEST. Lame.

Nolan - in the spirit of crossfit.  I think it's only appropriate that at the half way point during your GMAT ... you quietly stand up and proceed to bang out 5 burpees.

And when you're done with the test ...  you yell out "TIME !!!" as loud as you can.

Hahaha, that sounds like an excellent idea.
